ACTHA Sanctioned Ride – August 29th
Horse Valley Ranch will host an American Competitive Trail Horse Association Sanctioned Ride on August 29th, 2009.
Imagine with me if you can the vibrant yellows and reds that the sun highlights on the sides of the mountains here in central PA, now see yourself riding through the mountains, listening to the gentle sounds of the native trout streams bubbling, the call of the distant raven the rustle of leaves as the squirrels gather their fall harvest. Here in Horse Valley, you can find the solitude that once was common and is so hard to find anymore. Come bring your family….step back in time for a brief moment and RIDE WITH US! Sit around the campfire, enjoy a hay ride pulled with our team of Belgians, fish, hike, ride till your heart is content! The only thing missing here at our ranch is you and your family!
ACTHA entry fees must be paid online at through the ACTHA website. Registration for this ride will close 8/27/2009 (2 days before the ride).

Schedule
Check-in Friday evening or Sat morning before 8:30
Breakfast: 8:00am
Rider’s briefing: 9:00am
Ride out: 10:00am – 11:00am
Trail will take about 2 – 2 1/2 hours, 6-7 miles
Lunch following the ride
Awards following lunch

Entries limited to first 100.
$525 in cash awards & great prizes for 1st – 6th place.
