Trail Rides – 6 years and older

Your horseback riding experience begins with an evaluation of your abilities and skill levels, which will guide us in matching you with your horse for the day! We will take a few minutes to acquaint you with your horse and get you comfortable in the saddle, and then we are off to the forest for an awesome ride!

You will enjoy the beauty of the forest in all its majesty. As we follow the old logging roads as they wind their way along, you will leave behind the stresses of life. The quietness is deafening, the colors are hypnotizing as the rays of sunshine make the green of the ferns come to life, the yellows and reds of the wildflowers glow as if they are on fire, the birds welcome you r presence as they fill the air with song.

Weather you have chosen the Greenhorn Ride which usually takes an hour or so or  go the  extra mile on our 2 hour  Dude Ride , where the deer walk the trails and the hills are a little higher, yet even more beautiful. With the sounds of the stream cascading over the rocks making it’s own unique music as it makes its way thru our valley. Which ever ride you choose, you will enjoy the solemn beauty of our mountains!

But wait, did I hear you say you want it all…are you really up for this challenge…well ,we are …let’s go ! Brace yourself for a whole day of startling beauty, the resounding sounds of sweet nothingness filling your ears as we travel back in time and relive a day in history exploring the mountains here in Central Pennsylvania. As we enjoy our lunch on the trail somewhere in the most breath taking cafeteria you can imagine, lined with ferns and grasses swaying in the gentle breezes to the soothing music of the birds, making our simple sandwich seem like a meal fit for royalty. This day will live in your memory…forever!
